Earlier this week, my girlfriend and I went to dinner with two of my good friends. I have known both of these friends since they first started dating each other (the reason for that is because I am the one who introduced them to each other), and they have now been married for close to three years. Before the two of them got married, I had a very negative view of the subject of marriage, but now that I have seen such a positive example of it, I am starting to rethink my previous views on the subject.

Regardless, the reason that we got together for dinner was to catch up with each other. Normally, we see each other at least twice a week, but we hadn’t seen them during the previous week. The reason was because they had gone to London for the week, and I wanted to hear about how their trip had gone. As soon as we met up, I could tell that they had really enjoyed their trip. They talked about their trip quite a bit throughout the course of dinner, and I was very happy to hear that they had gotten to experience so many new things.
